The product is formulated as a moisture-resistant bait block, making it suitable for challenging environments where conventional bait formulations may deteriorate more rapidly. Its active ingredient Difethialone has a unique molecular structure that enables strong efficacy even in situations where resistance to other anticoagulants may be suspected. Following consumption, the active ingredient disrupts normal blood clotting processes, leading to mortality several days after ingestion. The delayed mode of action prevents bait shyness and allows rodents to continue feeding normally, resulting in comprehensive population control.
